In our courses the emphasis is on practising English on a wide range of topics through talking, reading and writing. Revision of grammar and vocabulary will also be taken up as necessary. Ideally you should have some 8-9 years of learning English at school or at the vhs. We shall be doing all this in a friendly and easy atmosphere.

Englisch B2/C1: Refresher
This course will help you to keep up and improve your English in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The emphasis is on speaking. However, we will also be doing some listening, reading, writing and vocabulary expansion. Grammar revision will be taken up as necessary.

Englisch C1: Conversation
We are a group of interesting and interested people who enjoy talking about anything and everything. Generally, with an article as a starting point, we discuss current affairs, newsworthy topics, share our own life experience and happily go where the conversation takes us. We have lively debates in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to join in the conversation. Why not join us and freshen up your English skills?

In this course, we will focus on practising and improving your English speaking skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our discussions will be based on current events and articles from various sources. Important points of grammar will be reviewed if necessary.

This course is for people who have already done a lot of English, perhaps at school or at the vhs, and now want to practise what they have learnt. The emphasis is on talking, listening and reading, with regular revision of grammar and vocabulary.

Welcome to the monthly book club! In this course, we will focus on classic and contemporary literary works published in the US and Canada. Discussion questions will be distributed ahead of each meeting. Brief audiovisual clips will introduce the author and themes of the discussion.
