Members of this long-running and popular Book Club vote on which books they would like to read. Lively discussion in English then centres around what we have read that month. All titles are also available as e-books.

This course is for people who have already done a lot of English, perhaps at school or at the vhs, and now want to practise what they have learnt. The emphasis is on talking, listening and reading, with regular revision of grammar and vocabulary.

Welcome to the monthly book club! In this course, we will focus on classic and contemporary literary works published in the US and Canada. Discussion questions will be distributed ahead of each meeting. Brief audiovisual clips will introduce the author and themes of the discussion.
